Spirit of ’76 (Fog Cutter riff)

Ingredients

  • ¾ ozapple brandy
  • ¾ ozjamaican rum
  • ½ ozrye
  • ½ ozorange juice
  • ½ ozlemon juice
  • ½ ozcinnamon syrup
  • ½ ozmaple syrup
  • ½ ozamontillado sherry
  • 2 dashangostura bitters
  • 2 dashpeychauds bitters
Garnish: freshly grated nutmeg, an orange and apple slice, a brandied cherry and a Bicentennial flag toothpick

Instructions

⁠ Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake until chilled. Strain over ice into a Collins glass.
